IMO East Africa Marks World Memon Day with Medical and Food Support in Kibera

World Memon Day, celebrated annually on the 10th of April, serves as a global focal point for the Memon community to engage in localized humanitarian and social welfare activities. Originally initiated by the esteemed Memon leader Mr. Iqbal Memon Officer in India, the day has evolved into a worldwide movement of unity and service. In Nairobi, this year's commemoration targeted the heart of Kibera, focusing on the immediate needs of both health and nutrition. The IMO East Africa delegation facilitated a strategic donation to Al Khair Medical Clinic, ensuring the facility is stocked with essential medicines and supplies for the next quarter. Recognizing the intersection of health and food security, the team also distributed comprehensive food hampers to vulnerable households in the vicinity.
