Ecovado and Alfa Laval Launch Venda Avocado Oil Facility to Drive South African Value Addition

Ecovado and Alfa Laval have officially unveiled a state of the art avocado oil processing plant in South Africa, marking a significant milestone in the region's agricultural value addition drive. Established by Hulisani Mudau to address limited economic opportunities, Ecovado leverages the area's abundant fruit production to stimulate local development. The newly operational facility relies on a one hundred percent Alfa Laval processing line to manufacture high quality avocado oil, with the majority of production targeted at lucrative international export markets.
