Nairobi is set to cement its status as the "Silicon Savannah" with the launch of AI Everything Kenya x GITEX Kenya from 19–21 May 2026. This landmark event, organized under the legacy of the world-renowned GITEX brand and supported by the Office of the Special Envoy on Technology, will gather global innovators, policymakers, and investors to unlock the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence across the continent.
The inaugural AI Everything Kenya x GITEX Kenya represents a defining moment for the regional digital economy. The three-day program is strategically split to address both high-level policy and hands-on innovation. It kicks off on 19 May 2026 at the Sarit Expo Centre with the Inclusive AI Everything Summit, a high-stakes forum where industry leaders and government officials will outline frameworks for responsible and accessible AI adoption.
Following the summit, the action moves to the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) from 20–21 May 2026 for the AI Everything Kenya Expo. This exhibition will showcase cutting-edge solutions in fintech, agritech, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and smart infrastructure. With Startup Kenya onboard as the Official Media Partner, the event is designed to amplify the visibility of homegrown startups, connecting local talent with global venture capital and corporate partners.
Why this matters

For the business community, GITEX Kenya provides a localized platform to access the same high-tier networking and investment opportunities usually found in Dubai or Berlin. By bringing "Inclusive AI" to the forefront, the summit ensures that the digital divide is addressed, ensuring that technological advancements benefit all sectors of society, from small-scale farmers to large-scale enterprises.
